Happy Valentines Day !  We've been putting together our Valentine Special Page on the website and I thought I'd tell the story behind one of our special Valentine Heart Necklaces.

I met Jen Macaluso-Ciraolo of Hey, Dollface at an Art, Craft show in Staten Island and was immediately impressed.  Jen made and showed cute jewelry in colors that gladdened my heart.  I couldn't resist her daisy earrings in sunny yellow.  Her statement necklaces, stud and hanging earrings, and pins were all handmade using vintage findings, beads, and baubles, combined with modern touches that made them uniquely Hey, Dollface.  I asked her to create a piece for us and she came up with this lovely Heart Pendant Necklace.  It's made from a vintage West German heart charm with a silver tone art deco bail on stainless steel curb chain. A pearl charm dangles from the extender chain in back. Jen says: "The hearts were the last lot available at Mayer Imports in Manhattan, Mr. Mayer himself knew exactly which West German hearts needed for the piece."   

We have a few Heart Pendant Necklaces available for Valentines Day - but act quickly because when they are gone, they are gone!
