I recently dressed up for an event and of course I wore my matching pearl necklace and earrings. It’s such a 50’s look to wear a string of classic pearls, or a chunky set in a range of colors to compliment your outfit. Pearls go with sweater sets, a housewife look, or debutante style. It’s the finishing touch.
Pearls are believed to attract wealth and luck as well as offer protection. Known for their calming effect, pearls can balance one's karma, strengthen relationships, and keep children safe. The pearl is also said to symbolize the purity, generosity, integrity, and loyalty of its wearer.
Well, I can't afford real pearls yet so I guess faux ones will have to do :)
