The summer gets a bit slow (who wants to think about clothing when you can go to the beach !)  So I use this time to work on new products and ideas.  Thanks to Christine at Laughing Lizards I am inspired to work on a new idea using white headbands.  By applying a cute, retro applique to the headband we are taking a classic and giving it a new twist.  We'll start with wide white headbands and see how it goes.  If the idea flies then we'll add pink and black headbands to the mix.

We are working on adding different appliques like cherries, hearts, and musical notes. I'll ask for feedback to see what designs are appealing and what we should explore next.   We already put appliques on white socks and they have been a consistently good seller.  Why not expand the idea.  

Inspiration can strike at any time, even on a hot summer day when you're stuck in the office :)
