Retro in the Comic Book World - Hey Viv Retro Photo Shoot at Hypno-Tronic Comics

The coolest store needs the coolest retro right? We recently teamed up with Hypno-Tronic Comics on a photo shoot featuring items from both of our stores to do some cross promotion - plus it's a fun way to get some shots for Instagram and Facebook.  So, on a cold day last week, Delia VS and I met up with Joy Ghigliotti, the owner of Hypno-Tronic Comics.  It was warm and wonderful in the store, so much to look at, and we immediately got ideas on staging the shoot.

For the Photo Shoot, Delia is wearing our Versatile Button Shawl in Burgundy, along with a Red Beret with Spiral Beaded Design, Pink Sugar Skull Wallet, and Velvet Wrist Length Gloves.  The Rainbow Pom Pom Earrings are Delia's own design.  The Heart of the Ocean Necklace from Titanic is from Hypno-Tronic Comics. 

Joy has a wonderful, wacky sense of humor and encouraged us to use anything in the store as props.  Hypno-Tronic Comics is a treasure trove of Comics, Action Figures, Posters, Toys, Collectibles, Figurines, Novelties, T-Shirts, and Games. Delia and I even did some Christmas shopping while we were there.

And, yes! we bought some Archie McPhee Racing Babies - who could resist?
